As we approach a significant milestone, the 50th anniversary of Blue Max, we are reaching out to share our story and invite you to be a part of our celebration. Founded in 1975 by visionaries like Jerry Wickham and later restructured under the guidance of Bob Garrett, Blue Max has been a beacon for the LGBT+ community in the Greater St. Louis area. From our early days at the Red Bull to our current patronage of several GLBTQ+ bars, we have fostered a spirit of inclusivity and camaraderie. Our history is rich with firsts, including becoming the first St. Louis leather club to welcome women in 1992, and our commitment to charitable causes has been unwavering.
